Technological background

ArchiFM is an application built upon a strong database manager (Oracle, MS SQL) whose graphic data entry and information display services are offered by ArchiCAD 7.0. The alphanumeric user interface, which is suitable for handling data by itself, independent of graphic software components, offers the easy-to-use, user-friendly interface that is customary in the Graphisoft product family. Sophisticated report display and individual report generation s are facilitated by Crystal Reports for ArchiFM, a now practically standard software component. The ArchiFM WebServer is embedded into this environment, which allows for the display of the user interface familiar in both appearance and functions through Internet browsers. The WebServer provides Internet and corporate intranet access to ArchiFM for computers without ArchiFM client software installed.
